Terms of Service

Last updated: August 2026. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MediPalGo website and medical travel coordination services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the MediPalGo website (the "Site") or engaging our services (the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you", "your") and MediPalGo ("we", "our", "us"). We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our Site. Your continued use of the Site or Services after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Services

MediPalGo provides medical travel coordination and support services for international patients seeking healthcare in China. Our Services include, but are not limited to: (a) Hospital matching and specialist referral based on medical diagnosis and treatment requirements. (b) Pre-arrival teleconsultation coordination with Chinese healthcare providers. (c) Medical visa invitation letter facilitation and documentation support. (d) Travel and accommodation planning assistance. (e) In-hospital bilingual accompaniment and medical interpretation. (f) Medical record translation and coordination. (g) Post-treatment follow-up coordination. We act as a coordination and facilitation service. We are not a healthcare provider and do not practice medicine. All medical decisions, diagnoses, and treatments are the sole responsibility of licensed healthcare professionals at our partner hospitals.

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of our Services, you agree to: (a) Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, including medical records, personal identification, and contact details. (b) Notify us promptly of any changes to your medical condition, personal circumstances, or travel plans. (c) Comply with all applicable laws and regulations of China and your country of residence, including visa requirements and customs regulations. (d) Follow the medical advice and treatment plans prescribed by licensed healthcare professionals at partner hospitals. (e) Use our website and services in a lawful manner and not engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities. (f) Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and be responsible for all activities under your account. You acknowledge that failure to provide accurate information may result in delays, service limitations, or termination of our services.

4. Medical Disclaimer

MediPalGo is a medical travel coordination service, not a licensed medical provider. We do not: (a) Diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatments. (b) Recommend or endorse specific treatments, procedures, or medications. (c) Guarantee specific medical outcomes or results. (d) Provide medical opinions, second opinions, or clinical judgments. All medical decisions and treatment plans are made by qualified healthcare professionals at our partner hospitals. You should always consult with licensed medical professionals regarding your health condition. We strongly recommend that you verify all medical information directly with your treating physician.

5. Fees and Payments

Our service fees are transparent and itemized. Detailed pricing will be provided as part of your personalized service plan before any services are rendered. Payment terms, including deposit requirements, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods, will be specified in your service agreement. All fees are quoted in the currency specified in your service agreement unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with reasonable notice. Any disputes regarding fees must be raised in writing within 14 days of the invoice date.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellation and refund terms depend on the stage of service coordination at the time of cancellation: (a) Before hospital matching begins: Full refund minus a reasonable administrative fee. (b) After hospital matching but before travel: Partial refund based on services already rendered, including consultation fees, record translation, and visa support. (c) After travel has commenced: No refund for coordination services already provided, though unused prepaid hospital services may be refundable per the hospital's policy. (d) Cancellation due to medical reasons: We will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis with supporting medical documentation. Specific cancellation terms will be detailed in your individual service agreement. All refund requests must be submitted in writing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the MediPalGo website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, and software, is the property of MediPalGo or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from our Site without our prior written consent. The MediPalGo name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of MediPalGo.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MediPalGo, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, medical complications, personal injury, or death arising out of or in connection with our Services or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim arising from our Services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MediPalGo, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) Your use of our Services in violation of these Terms. (b) Your violation of any applicable law or regulation. (c) Your provision of inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. (d) Any dispute between you and a third party, including medical providers, arising from your use of our Services.

10. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal and medical information as described in our Privacy Policy. We process your data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EEA and UK users, and the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) of China.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or our Services shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) in accordance with its rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in Shanghai, China. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding on both parties. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect our intellectual property rights or confidential information.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, third parties, or our business interests. Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease. Sections 7 (Intellectual Property), 8 (Limitation of Liability), 9 (Indemnification), and 11 (Governing Law) shall survive any termination of these Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any individual service agreement you enter into with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and MediPalGo regarding your use of our Services. They supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and agreements, whether oral or written.
